[ARCHIVED] Drug Court to Celebrate 100th Graduation

The Blue Earth County Drug Court Program will celebrate its 100th Graduation on Monday, August 19 from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Ostrander Auditorium on the campus of Minnesota State University, Mankato.

Governor Mark Dayton, Minnesota Supreme Court Chief Justice Gildea and several area legislators are expected to attend to commemorate the significant milestone for the program. The Honorable Kurt D. Johnson will preside over the graduation with a reception to follow.

The Drug Court program in Blue Earth County is a community-wide, collaborative effort to reduce crime, increase public safety, lower recidivism and rehabilitate substance-abusing offenders by providing them with multifaceted interventions, frequent court contacts and intensive supervision.
