Absentee Ballots for the General Election on November 8, 2016, will be available starting September 23. More information and ballots may be requested online at www.blueearthcountymn.gov/absenteevoting or www.mnvotes.org by clicking on “Other Ways to Vote.”
Absentee ballot voters may also visit the Blue Earth County Elections Office in the lower level of the Blue Earth County Government Center, located at 410 S. 5th Street, Mankato. Hours for absentee ballot voting are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. The office will also be open on Saturday, November 5 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and until 5 p.m. Monday, November 7.
Minnesota State law allows any eligible voter to cast an absentee ballot. Voters no longer need an “excuse” to be allowed to vote absentee. Military and overseas voters may also visit www.mnvotes.org to learn about how they may be eligible to vote.
