[ARCHIVED] Absentee Ballot Voting Now Available

Absentee Ballots for the August 9, 2016 Primary Election are now available and can be requested online at www.mnvotes.org by clicking on “Other Ways to Vote”. Additionally, further details about absentee voting and election information can be found on the website.

Absentee ballot voters may also visit the Blue Earth County Elections Office in the lower level of the Blue Earth County Government Center, located at 410 S. 5th Street, Mankato. Hours for absentee ballot voting are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. The office will be open extended hours on Saturday, August 6 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and until 5 p.m. Monday, August 8.

Minnesota State law allows any eligible voter to cast an absentee ballot. Voters no longer need an “excuse” to be allowed to vote absentee. Military and overseas voters may also visit www.mnvotes.org to learn about how they may be eligible to vote.
