The Blue Earth County Recycling Education Committee has an opening to fill an unexpired committee member term with 1.5 years remaining in the two-year term. Committee members work with the Blue Earth County Recycling Coordinator to spread the word about waste reduction, reuse and recycling. The Committee is considered a working committee and does not make policy decisions and takes part in activities such as the annual Earth Day Celebration, Blue Earth County Fair and outreach efforts at the Farmers’ Market. Meetings for the committee are generally held on the first Monday of the month at 5 p.m., though meetings are often replaced by activities and events.
