All ages are welcome to participate in Earth Day activities at the Blue Earth County Library in Mankato on Sat., April 18 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The event will take place in the Lovelace Children’s Wing of the library where there will be activities, craft projects, informational displays and refreshments. A highlight of the event will be a special live reptile presentation by Remarkable Reptiles at 11 a.m.
Additionally, participants can make craft projects from recycled materials, take part in environmental games, enter in a coloring contest, listen to an environmentally-themed story time and enjoy face painting. The 2015 Earth Day celebration has something for everyone to learn about keeping the earth clean while having fun.
