Road work resulting in reduced speed limits, lane shifts and temporary gravel surfacing is scheduled to begin on Thurs., Sep. 18, 2014 on County Road 5 (Third Avenue) at 231st Lane (about 1.25 miles north of Minnesota Highway 14). The lane shifts and reduced speeds are necessary to facilitate the construction of a slurry pipe crossing for Jordan Sands, a local company along County Road 5.
Drivers can expect the road work to be in effect for approximately six days while the project is being completed.
