State Highway 30 will remain closed until Sat., May 10 from Amboy City limits East for three-quarters of a mile to complete repair work on Blue Earth County Agricultural Ditch 38. The closure will allow installation of new ditch tile located under the Highway 30 roadway. Both lanes of traffic will close with detour routes posted. Westbound traffic will be re-routed to travel North on County Road 1 and West on County Road 10 to US Highway 169 at Vernon Center. Eastbound traffic will travel North on US Highway 169 to Vernon Center on County Road 10 to County Road 1. Large amounts of rain the past week delayed progress of the project, causing the construction timeline to be extended until Sat., May 10.
