The event will take place in the Lovelace Children’s Wing of the library where there will be activities, craft projects, informational displays, refreshments and a special visit from Minnesota State University, Mankato’s Stomper mascot. Adult participants will also have the opportunity to be part of a drawing to win a free rain barrel with a retail value of $140.

Some of the craft activities that participants can make from recycled materials are rock buddies, CD insects, tube trees, rain sticks and more. Other activities will include environmental games, face-painting, airbrushed tattoos, a special story time and a coloring contest.
