[ARCHIVED] Library to Host Special Dog Events Throughout February: Annual Dog Show Scheduled for Saturday

The Blue Earth County Library is calling all dog lovers to attend activities put on by the Key City Kennel Club throughout the month of February. The Key City Kennel Club Dog Show has become a favorite annual event at the library for people of all ages. The event will take place on Sat., Feb. 8 from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a number of fun activities and shows. Special activities include “meet the breeds” and obedience/agility demonstrations are scheduled for 10:45 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.

On Tuesday mornings in February from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. members from Key City Kennel Club will also be reading stories about dogs to children. Part of the fun is that they will bring their own dogs to the library for these special “doggie” story time sessions.
