The ATV ordinance allowing the use of all-terrain vehicles and mini trucks on county state aid highways and county roads within Blue Earth County by permit which is required as part of State statute. ATV/mini truck permit applications are available
online or by visiting the Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Office located at 401 Carver Road in Mankato.
An ATV/mini truck permit is $15 for three years and requires a permit sticker be affixed to a registration plate.
When applying for the permit, you will need the following:
- Insurance Agency, Policy Number, and Policy Expiration Date
- ATV/Mini Truck Make, Model, Year, Serial, and State Registration Numbers
