Long-Term Homelessness Definitions and Eligibility

There are different federal and state definitions of long-term homelessness (LTH).  Generally, long-term homelessness means lacking a permanent place to live continuously for a year or more or at least four times in the past three years.

LTH=12 months or 4 episodes x past 3 years
