Vulnerable Adult / Adult Protection

Blue Earth County is the agency responsible for receiving all reports of suspected abuse or neglect of vulnerable adults.

Staff from the State of Minnesota or County investigate cases of suspected maltreatment and make a determination on whether the alleged abuse was substantiated, inconclusive, unsubstantiated, or false. Other referrals can be made to regulatory bodies or licensing boards.
