MAPO ADA Transition Plan and Inventory
Blue Earth County is working to ensure pedestrian infrastructure throughout the county is compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The County is performing a Self-Evaluation of policies, practices and pedestrian infrastructure within public rights-of-way to identify ADA deficiencies that pose barriers to safe and efficient access for all users. The County is also completing an ADA Transition Plan that provides a plan, schedule, and planning-level costs for upgrading pedestrian infrastructure and the removal of barriers to accessibility within the public rights-of-way.
The County encourages all who are disabled, short or long-term, or who represent others with disabilities to visit the link below or contact the Blue Earth County ADA Coordinator, Ryan Thilges at MultimodalComments@blueearthcountymn.gov.
